“Oh what wicked webs we weave…”

I do believe this. Nice one bro.

“Oh what wicked webs we weave
When first we practice to deceive.”

Not far away from where I live, in a bare paddock, amongst thousands of broad cropping acres, there is an abandoned cottage. It was once the home of the Schippan family, the family involved in what has become a most mysterious “unsolved” murder. It is not the original pioneer homestead of the family, but another home built after the “murder house” nearby was abandoned. It has become known as : “The Towitta Murder”…you can read about it online or in a published novel : “The Noon Lady of Towitta”.

You can hear all about it here..: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4S9Y4zTsxM

There never was a satisfactory resolution to that murder, and the only “concrete” evidence pointing to a possible killer was the death-bed confession of the father to a Lutheran pastor that HE had murdered his own daughter because she had witnessed…

May loves #NaylorReport. EVERYONE must see/share (video) #GE17 #NHS

I do believe it!

The SKWAWKBOX

The SKWAWKBOX has been inundated over the last couple of days by people sending the link to a video, with messages to the effect of ‘you must do something with this’.

Having watched it, they’re absolutely right.

During her TV interview with Andrew Neil last week, Theresa May repeated her usual nonsense ad nauseam, but when asked about Tory plans for the NHS, she only talked about The Naylor Report.

may naylor.pngMay admits that implementing the Naylor Report will cost ten billion pounds – but she makes it sound like this is additional government investment in the NHS.

It is not – it’s £10bn of our money that Mrs May intends to spend on ‘accelerating’ a ‘BOGOF’ two-for-one fire sale of NHS buildings and land to private developers at knock-down prices. The plan will also charge hospital trusts millions if they don’t want to sell.

And – so far…

Exclusive: former explosives dog-handler talks May’s damage to security #GE17

I do believe it!

The SKWAWKBOX

After the terrible and tragic events in Manchester on Monday, Theresa May said she would ensure that the police would have the resources necessary to handle the challenge. What she omitted to mention, of course, was that she had made huge cuts – as Home Secretary – to the most important resource the police have.

Police officers. 20,000 of them.

And seven specially-trained police explosives dogs, because as far as she was concerned they weren’t needed and were therefore made redundant, along with their specially-trained handlers.

One of the handlers (probably not the one you might be thinking of) of those dogs talked exclusively to the SKWAWKBOX on condition of anonymity about May, her actions as Home Secretary and their consequences – and the sheer scale of the challenge she ahs left the police ill-equipped to meet:

#DementiaTax – what happens when SURVIVING spouse needs care too? #GE17

The SKWAWKBOX

tories robbing widowsThe Tories plan to rob surviving spouses and their families (image by @ukdemockery

In spite of the uproar – and the migration of elderly voters to Labour – caused by the Tories’ plans to make older people pay even for care at home out of the value of their house, the Tories have attempted to make the plan out to be ‘fair’ and have focused on the ‘cap’ on care costs – and the claim that people won’t be forced to sell their homes to pay for care.

But this is deeply misleading. It’s not really a ‘cap’, as the contribution to costs has no upper limit, so someone with a house in an expensive area will easily pay hundreds of thousands of pounds before reaching the last £100,000 of the value of their estate. Just a single day per week of home-based care costs – at the moment –…

Emergency appeal: malicious attack on pro-JC campaigner

The SKWAWKBOX

r_swindPro-Corbyn blogger @Rachael_Swindon is one of the most tireless campaigners for Labour, Corbyn and a fairer society that you’ll ever find.

As well as blogging and creating some of the strongest memes to support Labour’s message, she is a full-time mother of two kids who also cares full-time for her disabled husband, who recently took a turn for the worse. As a result, she and her family are in the support group of ESA and PIP, which allowed them – just about – to scrape by, except when the DWP screwed up.

Until now.

Because of her effectiveness, Rachael has angered right-wingers both inside and outside the Labour party. Because she has a ‘donate’ button on her blog, in case the occasional donation comes in to help eke out meagre benefits, someone made a malicious report to the DWP, triggering an investigation.

Let’s be clear, Rachael has done nothing wrong –…

Never mind the NHS – our nuclear trident submarines also run on Windows XP!

I dont believe it!

Pride's Purge

Very worryingly, today the NHS was hit by a cyber attack.

This is because the NHS is so underfunded that when Microsoft stopped support for Windows XP – the operating system which most NHS hospitals use – they didn’t have enough money to update their systems.

Much more worryingly – our nuclear Trident submarines also run on a version of Windows XP:

Which gives a whole new meaning to the blue screen of death …
